Homework and MC Online Work

Dear parents,

The girls are given a revision paper and HaoPengYou issue 34 to complete.

They have also been assigned online work in MC Online. Besides that, on 18 Oct, which is their E Learn day, they are also assigned an online revision on chapter 13.

The girls had received their Chinese file for revision during the 1 week break.

Please be reminded that they will sit for their pen and paper assessment which will cover from Hanyu Pinyin to Chapter 13 on week 6. They will also be sitting for a listening comprehension assessment on week 6 too.

Dear Parents,

The girls will be bringing home their Mother Tongue file (yellow) today. I have asked them to do revision during the September holidays and to only bring back the file on Term 4 Week 1, 16 September.

Signing of Chinese Test Papers

Dear Parents,

The girls have received back their 3 different assessment papers for Chinese today. They are 1) Pen and Paper assessment, 2) Reading Assessment, 3) Picture Conversation.

Please take a look at their performance and sign on the 3 respective papers. Do remind your daughter to put the assessment papers back into their Homework file as I would like to collect from them tomorrow.

P1 Chinese Cultural Shadow Puppet Show on 2 Sept

Dear Parents,

The girls would have received a letter regarding an excursion to watch a shadow puppet show on 2nd Sept. It will be at the National Community Leadership Institute near Bouna Vista. Transport will be provided. The girls will leave the school at 10am and returned to school by 1.30pm.

The school strongly encourages all to attend as such opportunities to appreciate Chinese arts and culture are rare. The cost of admission is $18 per pupil. Our school will be subsidizing $8 per child and your child will only need to pay $10 in cash or cheque.

Kindly enclose the cash or cheque in an envelope together with the payment slip detached from the letter and remind your child to pass to me tomorrow.

Dear Parents,

Please help to check if your child has 1B ZiBaoBao cards. I have asked the girls to bring on Monday. If you have not purchase it, please try to do so during the weekend. Please write the child's register number and class on the back of the cards so that it will be easier to find if one of the cards is misplaced.

The girls are required to do their Chinese Writing Practice book, pages 38 to 45.

I have returned them their HaoPengYou 16, 17, 18, please ensure that they put at home so that they can use them as revision or reading materials. 

Chinese Spelling 17 will be on next Tuesday, 30 July.
